The Purpose of the Southside Businessmen’s Club is to promote the Civic, Economic, and Social Improvement of Greater Jacksonville.
Every club president has spoken those words since the beginning, over 90 years ago. Each meeting, I proudly recite these very words and think of the great men and women who came before me, along with our wonderful members who have worked tirelessly to uphold this mantra.
This past Wednesday, I could not be any prouder of our members who dedicated time to help out at Rethreaded. From Past Presidents and current ones to officers and new members, it was a wonderful opportunity to get to know one another. Our club demonstrated, in the dark world of human trafficking, that good people do exist in this world.
I want to thank Third Vice President Adam Canni for organizing this event. I would also like to extend a big thank you to the staff at Rethreaded for the great work that they do every day.
