Issue 287, July 6, 2025
At the Southside Business Men’s Club, we have proudly stood the test of time—adapting, growing, and remaining relevant in a world that never stops moving. As our city evolves and new industries reshape the business landscape, we too must embrace change, not as a disruption, but as an opportunity.
This year, we’ve welcomed new members, hosted dynamic speakers, and expanded our community outreach. Each of these changes has brought fresh perspectives and renewed energy. But change is not only about doing more—it’s about doing better.
As we look ahead, we will focus on three areas of transformation:
1. Modernization – Streamlining communication and event access through digital tools.
2. Membership Growth – Welcoming younger professionals while honoring our legacy.
3. Civic Impact – Deepening our involvement in local education, entrepreneurship, and youth development.
Let’s remember that change starts with a conversation. I invite each of you to share your ideas, challenge the status quo, and help us write the next chapter of our storied club.
Together, we don’t just adapt – we lead.
Sincerely,
Ken Petsch
2025 President
