The President

Dear Fellow Golfer!

On May 9th, 2022 the Southside Business Men’s Club (SBMC) will hold its 27th  Annual Crump Kirby Youth Achievers Charity Golf Classic, which will benefit the SBMC Charities fund at the Golf Club at South Hampton.

Proceeds from this event fund the Youth Achiever Program Scholarship Fund. Your contribution will be a tremendous enhancement to the fundraiser, at the same time promoting your business. Since 1994, the SBMC has been helping students in our community by ensuring that School Safety Patrol members from qualifying schools can attend the annual school trip to Washington, D.C., regardless of the child’s financial situation. In addition, high school seniors who participated at qualifying schools are eligible to apply for a yearly college scholarship based on academic performance. In 2014 the SBMC Charities Board expanded and created the new JROTC Scholarship!  This scholarship has a minimum GPA requirement and is primarily focused on cadet performance in JROTC.

Along with these general Scholarships, we also present one University of North Florida student with the Pauline Smith Scholarship Award. This scholarship is awarded to the runner up of the UNF Harry Truman Scholarship Award competition. To date we have awarder over $500,000 in Scholarships to Local Students!

In appreciation for your tax-deductible donation, the SBMC will acknowledge your company on the Event Banner, Sponsor Sign and at weekly SBMC meetings.

We are a 501(c) (3) organization and our Florida Department of Revenue certificate number is on file. If you’d like more information about the Youth Achiever Program and the SBMC, please visit our website at www.SBMCcharity.org. Thank you for your support! Cordially,

Jeff Volpe
